poodles are really really smart dogs too. very easy to potty train. and they live along time ... the one i grew up with lived to be 16!

Oh Todd...that is much better than a child! Of course I would say that having 4 dogs! He is precious. We just lost our poodle Brandy at 20 yrs old (we only had her for a few years--we took her in when her elderly owner couldn't care for her). She was a joy. Congratulations!!

Todd - more (and better) pics will definitely be posted. He will be going to the salon soon, so a lot of the dark brown hair will be clipped off. It's much lighter underneath, so he may look like a different dog!

myke - You're right -- they're incredibly smart. Kevin had Gizmo for 16 years when we lost him last spring.

Cute doesn't do him justice! Todd, I think we need a sound clip of his bark as well - I think it makes him all the more adorable, especially when he's playing.
