That is nice. I'm jealous. I wish Phoenix would build something like that. With the possible exception of the Phoenix Main Library, our architechture is always kind of boring. Bank One Ballpark looks way too corporate, and our new football stadium will look like a giant toiletbowl when completed. |

Okay, It was pointed out to me by my other half that there is -some- neat architechture here in Phoenix. Frank Lloyd Wright has several buildings around here. The Arizona Biltmore and ASU's Gammage Auditorium were designed by his students. The new couthouse downtown is a love-it or hate-it type design. There are probably others, but I still like your new Symphony Center. |

That's a very cool building. My first thought when I saw it was "Sydney Opera House". Maybe that was the point. |

Just realized I typed the wrong info somewhere else in this World of Todd web site, regarding the Symphony. He seems Like a nice guy, sorry Todd! Anyway, I'm a big fan of Calatrava. I was at the opening of the Milwaukee Art Museum several years ago and visited the venues in Athens Greece he designed. This guy is Amazing! I feel honored that our city will have a masterpiece from such an artist. Ok, I really need to work now. Thanks Todd for keeping me from my work, but I'm a sucker for architecture and design. Don't know why you look so familiar to me, anyway there are my thoughts. |
