I've never really understood the point of having a conference in Vegas. If *I* was in Vegas for a conference, the last thing on my mind would be the conference. I would be too easily distracted by the blinking lights and bells and buzzers. But then again, I'm like that. I think I have adult ADD.

What was I saying again?

Having just gotten back from Vegas, I can pretty much vouch for the "distracted by blinking lights and bells and buzzers" theory. That place just sends me into sensory overload, and it takes days for the bells to quit ringing in my head. I'm not over it yet.

The advantage to attending a conference there, I think, would be that it would give you a chance to actually get some sleep (discreet little catnaps in the corner of the meeting room) at least. There's certainly not much motivation to sleep the rest of the time - too many bells and buzzers luring you to the fun on the casino floor.
