Gravatar TE-
I just finished reading the Phone call project again. I have read it many times over the past couple of years..... It still rings hard for me. I miss him tonight as I miss you. Thanks for re-posting it!!

Love,
MP

Gravatar I'm hardly able to type right now, as I can't see through my tears...I so remember those Fresno days, including seeing him sing and act, in what may have been his last performance... and taking him to that specialist in SF. Even though I couldn't be there as much as I would have liked, I am sooo greatful that I got to spend time in that last year. I have been thinking of him all day...I posted last night as I thought Gary and I would be in SF today...your post made me laugh and smile.....

Gravatar I am very sorry about Eric. How sad. This must be a very painful time for you.

Gravatar Hey Todd-

Just read this post about Eric - what a beautifully written piece about such a beautiful person. Your description of Eric is so "right-on." i love you, Todd!

Gravatar Thanks to you all for reading...it means alot, especially with this post.

Gravatar I love this post - I remember reading it the first time - it's just perfect. I do remember him laughing at his own jokes - HA!

Gravatar Hi Todd, as I'm reading this for the first time and remembering the last time we saw Eric in Fresno in his last days, I was glad to have all the "rest of the story" to fill in some of your emotional feelings. As I remember I can't think that we shared a lot of that, and possibly because we were all trying to have a "normal" family time together to share with Eric for one last time. I remember you and Eric , with love, when you lived in Albert Lea and the two of you were busy drawing and being so creative as maybe 4,5,yrs. old?? You were both adorable and with those big eyes, so irresistable!! I just have a thing for boys Shameless woman that I am!!. Thanks for this heartfelt remembering and sharing it with so many others. I love you loads. Aunt Phyllis

Gravatar thanks for sharing something so personal and vivid. your love and fraternal care giving is only matched by your ability to bring us all closer to his enduring spirit..whether we ever had the chance to meet him or not.

warmest of hugs to you and those who were closest to him~~~

Gravatar thank you SO much for taking the time to write this entry Todd. I was one who had lost touch with both Eric and yourself during those years after college and reading your thoughts and experiences brought tears to my eyes as I felt, again, the loss of Eric. there were so many, many happy memories laughing and singing with him back at USD. we were roommates on tour with Madrigal Singers and the hours we spent laughing at all the insane personalities in those 3 vans of singers will forever remain in my mind. unforgettable man and one of the truly great souls I've stumbled on to in this life. those of us lucky to have crossed his path are forever grateful to continue living its wake. warmest wishes and lots of love to you my friend! - Steve
