what the hell _does_ a vegan eat anyway?

Gravatar So Teese is really that good, eh?? Awesome!

Gravatar This looks good.. I have a lasagna recipe myself.. Being vegan does not mean you can not enjoy food. Recipes like this show that. I have not heard of teese? Is that a brand name for a vegan cheese? I have used the vegan mozzarella.
I have been vegan since October, 2007 and started a blog to help others learn how to be vegan as I am learning.. I enjoy reading other vegan blogs as well and learning new recipes and creating them myself.

Gravatar @gwenvegan -- yes the Teese is a new product that just came out in the last two months.

You can find info on where to mail order it here...

Gravatar oh my god, a little image search of cremini mushrooms led me to your page via your beautiful cremini & broccoli tempura. AND vegan, where have you been all my life!?

Gravatar Wow - that looks tasty. I haven't cooked with pine nuts before...will have to try a few : )

Gravatar I used to hate lasagna before I became a vegetarian. Now I love vegetarian lasagna's and this one just looks so delicious!

Gravatar Have to look into that Tesse...that lasagna looks great.

Gravatar Hi, I made this and it was really good!

Ok, here is where I admit that I am not a vegan, so I used Mozz cheeze instead of Teese, and did half tofu and half ricotta. However, the great flavors came from the awesome sauce and the veggies, and this was just delish!

In the future, I think I will double the sauce recipe, because I had just a bit left for the top, and I used no-boil noodles that need a bit more saucing to soften. I won't use all the sauce, but I bet I can find other uses for the leftovers

Gravatar @EMZ you should definitely pick up some Teese through mail order and do a taste test.

making your own tofu ricotta takes 4 extra minutes -- and if you replace the no-boil noodles (which have eggs in them) with regular lasagna noodles, that's only 10 minutes -- that way you won't need the extra sauce, which will actually save you time
