Gravatar what a gorgeous dish - thank you for sharing the recipe!! one question: what is dinosaur kale? is it just "large" kale? haha, I just want to make sure that I don't buy the wrong kind of kale for this recipe...

Gravatar it's also known as Lacinato Kale -- it looks different than regular leafy kale, it has sort of a pebbly leaf.

there's a couple of good close-ups here:

Gravatar Gorgeous tagine!

I was wondering if you could share the brand info for the dehydrator you use. I'm interested in getting one, but I don't know how to judge between them. Any thoughts you have would be welcome. Thanks!

Gravatar It the Excalibur 2900 -- the nine tray unit...

Gravatar done!

Gravatar That looks SOOOOO good. I never thought I'd want cauliflower so badly.

Gravatar would lime juice be an acceptable substitute for tamarind?

Gravatar sure, or lemon juice...

Gravatar This was awesome! My 3 year-old even loved it. I lightly steamed the cauliflower and kale because I've read that if these veggies are not cooked or cultured, they can inhibit thyroid function. so.. mine wasn't completely rae -- but completely delish. YOu make cauliflower Fun!
