Hi Tom, I know this is an old blog post, but I thought you missed something crucial in Taleb's book. I think the idea of "random noise" is fascinating on its own, but is highly applicable to marketing and B2B (technology) market specifically. Selling into the Data Center has not changed that much over the last 20 years. We can debate this point, but if you have a good product that solves larges headaches and have a customer base to leverage you will be fine. The 'noise' in this case are the "new marketing" techniques that distract from the fundamentals listed above. The data center market will not forgive taking shortcuts. Thought? Andrew
