First off thanks for mentioning our blog category. Yes we believe that Social Media Optimization or Tagging 2.0 is a great tactic to supplement your SEO efforts when combined as part of your core link development campaigns. What better way to create a variety of optimized anchor text than through tags. The interesting piece is it's effects on the B2B market. As that cycle tends to be longer, it gives a marketer more time to lay the proper foundation for their SEO.

I appreciate your comments, and you're welcome for the mention. Intuitively, social tagging should be helpful in driving B2B traffic, including but not limited to its positive SEO effects (there are a lot more business users, and fewer teenagers, using social tagging sites than is commonly believed). The next stage in my research is to determine which sites are most productive in this regard. Results will be posted here within the next few weeks.
