No, I've read the series. Pretty good too. I'm not fawning over it or writing about it because I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it.
And, yes, I am amazed at the number of people who have fallen in love with Harry "Four Eyes" Potter! Perhaps it's made geek chic again, or something like that.
