Good job I know you're joking about the first part, Tom!

As for Girl Geek Dinners, well I went to one and didn't enjoy it at all. Far too cliquey!

So I shall continue to infiltrate the mainstrream geek events and be damned ;-)

Oh, you don't have to enjoy the Girl Geek Dinners, or attend them. Like a magical talisman, their very presence is raising consciousness.

Another way to discourage women: always use terms like "girl," "babe," or "chicks" in the invitation. Some (many) women find these terms to be denigrating and won't attend.

Oh, and if you have t-shirts, be sure to get them in "real" men's sizes (XL and XXL) and at least one girl's size (oh, say, 6x). Then when women whine about how you don't have any shirts for them, you can hold up the ones in the size they wore 20 years ago.
