Hi Tom, thanks for the linkage - sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you, I'd hoped to get around to a lot more people at the event... I really think they ought to have given out stickers for us to create our own badges with tags for skills and interests, it would have been a lot easier to start conversations. Glad you had a good time too - I remember seeing your hack on stage, it looks pretty cool.

Same here...shame we didn't meet. I had assumed that there was going to be something more 'dynamic' to allow people to find each other.

I'm interested in what you say about the W3C, though. One way of looking at it though is that since we now have the languages we need for a 'next generation' of web apps, the standards process takes on a slightly different role. Those who want to create solutions to big problems might not find the WHATWG/W3C HTML WG approach appropriate for them.

If you know what I mean...
