Not in the intererst of either party? Well, that pretty much sums up the reason the pols are ducking it....they have worked hard to lull the public back to sleep about the issue. Now they are scared to death it will reinvigorate pulbic interest and force the pols to actually do something meaningful.
But it also begs the question of why the DIA is so hard over on trashing anyone involved. Answer: there is a rat afoot...and a good ol' fashion game of CYA.
