One way that Gorton and Roemer appear to be using overly strong language -- they state that three commission staff members and a White House attorney "affirm" that Atta;s name was not mentioned. If this is a case where Shaffer is saying one thing and the other four are saying another, how can Gorton and Roemer affirmatively conclude that these four are necessarily accurate? Is this majority rules? |

One technical point -- I've read that "Mohamed Atta" may have been known or referred to as "Mohamed el-Amir" at the time he was reportedly identified by Able Danger. |
