I have been covering the Iraqi Press Gate story involving the Pentagon paying for good press. A major part of this story is the shadowy company known as Lincoln Group. Today I did a search on Able Danger thinking I wanted to do a story on it...the intel commonalities between Able Danger and Lincoln Group are so similiar I am wondering if the two have ties to each other, with the common link related to A) when each was formed, and B)the data mining that is at the core of both Able Danger and Lincoln Group.

There is nothing similar at all between the Lincoln Group and Able Danger. Able Danger was a military planning effort aimed at targeting Al Qaeda world wide. It had nothing to do with influencing the media. In fact, they could not even get the military to listen to them when they warned of the risk to the USS Cole. Nice try, but I think you are way off target there, Pinto Bean.

You all should check out The Center for Cooperative Research's web site. It has an extensive Able Danger timeline based on mostly MSM sources.

I've had it listed in the links section on the right, as "Able Danger Timeline" - you're right it is good. Not exhaustive, but the best timeline out there so far.
