They are probably going to talk about the 'report card' the Public Discourse Project will issue Monday on the government's performance in enacting the recommendations of the now-defunct 9/11 commission. This sniffs like a Roveian "attack where you are weak" strategy, given the dismal report card(s) on the commission itself that have been issued by the September 11 Advocates, a victim family group, among others.

I just saw the show intro, and it already looks bad. A fawning Russert says the 9/11 commission is issuing its final report. However, the 9/11 commission no longer exists. It has expired. Kean and Hamilton have been leading a "Public Discourse Project," a privately funded effort.

At least Hamilton really cares about Cargill. Taxpayers have to protect Cargill, not Cargill shareholders.

Yukking it up there at the end, that was nice.

At least Russert asked about AD. But his attitude throughout was so unbelievably deferential.
