Is this a simplistic "Able Danger was good, surveillance is good, therefore surveillance critics are bad" spin? Was Able Danger at odds with FISA, case law, or the Fourth Amendment?

'Able Danger' wasn't @ odds with FISA, case law, or the Fourth.

(95 and on)Inside the intel world, and those that study, lecture, and write about intelligence began to understand/realize that the language in Gorelick's "wall" memo had motives other than what was stated. The "cover for Waco backlash" was pimped like a blonde @ Freak Nic in Atlanta. BUT, I thought their official story(s), fixed government hearings, and phony re-enactment tests(Fort Hood) concluded they had done nothing wrong. ; )

Waco deserves its own outrage of accountability but the "wall" goes beyond "Waco", it became a working system that could 'dry up' or 'kill' investigations at the highest level.

Plus, anything legal weasles like Gorelick couldn't manipulate was taken care of by Gorelick's links she formed within DOD, DIA, SOG, etc. when she worked as a legal jackal to protect and lie for all those agents and soldiers that attacked men women AND CHILDREN WITH TANKS AND GAS! Vincent Foster wasn't a sick twisted mind... he was probably a good man. It's Foster or the admin... and the admin chose themselves. The only problem is that the 1%(one percent) pros cost big money and the are only "in it" for money. They don't want favors or political poker chips... just big green stacks of cash.

How many people Close to Team Clinton scandals have died in unfortunate accidents or helpful suicides? The 1% call themselves "sweepers" and they take pride in their work like it's some evolving art form.

With what it costs to "wag the dog" AND hire the best "sweepers" for leaks Team Clinton realized they needed something to keep the ship from sinking... LOTS OF CASH MONEY!

That brings us to the big elephant in the room. ChinaGate... it's all true, the boogyman is real, and you've found him.

BB, yes, I think that is their view. I think a more accurate view is that people were so concerned about violating the rights you refer to above that Able Danger was seen as "Kelly's Heroes" and then kept from completing it's work - despite the fact that it was not actually violating any of those rights.

We have yet to learn fully about the motives regarding the resistance to Able Danger.

p.s. I used to have the lines in Kelly's Heroes memorized nearly as well as Caddyshack.
