WHAT is the problem here with the media ignoring this issue? I don't get it.
Days of quail hunting and no coverage to speak of the hearings (such as they were).
More letters to editors; more letters to representative and certainly DAMAND MORE NEWS COVERAGE via the link on this blog, and please send encouragement to Congressman Weldon!
The following is a letter I sent to many and they have forwarded it on:
"I have been very disappointed in the coverage the Able Danger project, that could have possibly aided in avoiding the loss of 3000 lives in 9/11! This is larger than Watergate, Hillarygate, and President Clinton's 'cigar'....or even still in the news today, Cheney's Bird Hunt!!! Question is, why are most news networks avoiding Able Danger? Why did C-span NOT tape the Able Danger hearings as they did the Whistleblowers hearing the day before? To many unanswered questions, to suit me! My personal view is that it will not only be a black eye for Republicans but for Democrats as well....so has it become a, "I'll scratch your back, if you scratch mine?" I think it has, and the fact that after such a huge blunder, the people that were responsible for the hush, hush of Able Danger, has been promoted, yes promoted...that seems to be the answer to our government, rewarding the inept!! They have adopted the Civil Service attitude...If they are so bad at their job, and you don't have time to 'document' all the bad, and afraid they may sue, on one claim or another, then promote them to get them out of your office!! That my friend is how it has worked in the past and that is why we have the incompetent in charge of our most sensitive areas.
I urge you to ask all your friends to go to www.abledangerblog.com and read and go to the links they connect you with. Honestly, these bloggers should have a medal for the great deal of hours and research and work they have done to keep Able Danger alive and to keep us informed!
I am proud of what the whistleblowers are and have done, and no one sets out to be a whistleblower, but sometimes it becomes necessary, especially when it concerns we the American people, and our security!
Please send Congressman Weldon a note, and thank him for his work and efforts to bring Able Danger to light. He has worked so hard, and, as this is something that will leave a blackeye on many from both parties, everyone seems to be jumping ship and leaving him without a life jacket.
