I don't want to comment on "The path to 911" Except to say that our laws in this country seem to have backed us into a corner. After 911 happened I heard nothing but bi-partisan complaints about Democrat this and Republican that, and how it was the other party's fault. It's our government's fault top to bottom!!!!
Noboby seems to care about the welfare of this country, only the race for their party to drag the opposing party through the mud. 911 happened because our government agencies didnt and still don't work together by sharing information with each other and our laws tie the hands of agents in the field and trivialize the risks they face when doing their jobs. The enemy we face today doesnt give a damn who is a Democrat or Republican, only we do. Americans are playing their fiddles while our country burns. Many of the terrorists that attacked us on 911 came from different backgrounds and different Islamic interpretations just like we in America have different interpretations of Christianity. However they shared one thing in common that brought them together reguardless of how twisted it is. We in this country can't even come together for our own survival. Maybe Bin Laden is right when he said that those in the Taliban are willing to die more than Americans are willing to live. While we sit and bicker over who is to blame for 911 they stand together planning more attacks.
