I'm not sure whether we outplayed the Flyers or not. We certainly had more quality chances on Biron but I felt we had a lot of trouble breaking out of our zone, and that the Flyers' forecheckers were doing a hell of a job to contain us. We held them to a minimum of shots, but a better proportion of those were dangerous compared to our 30-something, half of which were thrown right at Biron's chest.

I am only too happy to see Halak between the posts and hope they hold onto him for game 4, even though he was barely tested. I'd love to see Streit back on defence for real, with Ryder brought up to play with Smolinski and Kosto; the leftovers of Latendresse, LaPierre and La B égin together to do whatever they can... And of course, Brisebois, Dandenault and one of O'Byrne, Gorges or Bouillon left at home to cry...

Gravatar I would play Halak in game 4 because everyone on the team knows he will battle every second of the game. I even think Carbo wanted to take Price out between periods after horrendous goal against number 2, but Price had to trump things by letting another one in. I was calling for a change after the second goal, that was just pathetic. Fans all over chimed in that they could have stopped that one!

Agree that the Habs playing with the lead would be a nice thing. Can't see the great rating for Markov - I just picture him trying to enter the offensive zone on a 5 on 3 and not getting it done (how many times?). Possibly we could have scored there - but wait, that was the first period and Cary had not had a shot against to let in (my bad).
