Gravatar I knew this was going to happen to Price at some point. His "too cool for school" approach to handling the puck behind the net has been driving me bananas. I do however think that he should still get the start next game. This season, when ever he had a bad game, he tended to follow it up with a crazy-solid one. As much as I like Halak, sitting Price would be a mistake. What little confidence he may have left would be completely shattered and may have lasting effects into the next season.
If the team shows faith in him, he might regain some faith in himself.
I say give him 1 more chance....

And yes, the usual suspects should get the bench, get Grabs out there

Gravatar I didn't watch the game - had other commitments and managed to catch the last 10 minutes on the radio.

So I'm reading all about it today. But to be fair to Price and his puck-handling - Boston has been putting increasing amounts of pressure on him every game. In the first game he had some nice passes. In the second he was still able to foil to fore-checker quite easily. By the third/fourth game there were often two players pushing hard on either side. I figured he couldn't outwit them forever, but my concern was that it would lead to two losses (one game with a mistake, the second game being tentative). I didn't anticipate a blow-out, but he may be able to get it out of his system better this way and learn to cope. I agree with Stevens above that he should be given another chance.

Gravatar The 5th goal was a bit of a kicker in my mind -- a shot from almost the same spot as goal 4, but this time Price is standing up not even expecting the puck. What happens? It hits the inside of his elbow and goes into the net...An awful goal, but maybe that will put him in a better position for the next game. No more sloppy goaltending please k thanks.
