I agree with your assertion that ultimately Google will recognize the abuse of the online press release services in order to influence search engine rankings. When considering SEO tactics, I encourage marketers to always ask the question “is this adding value to researchers using Google?” If the answer is No, it is likely that Google will find a way to filter against those tactics that limit value for their searchers, or else they’ll go out of business.
