Classes and essays are indeed a waste of time. But practice tests are important.
Your perpsective will be different a year from now.

I took the exam last year. I'm not sure how another year is going to change my perspective.
Classes were generally helpful for myself and my classmates, and I imagine that's true for the overwhelming majority of students who didn't graduate law review or from a top 5 school.

I graduated from a pretty good school (not sure when it's ranked now) but nothing in school prepared me for the bar. Nor did I find the bar review classes to be worthwhile except to the extent that occasionally attending confirmed that I wasn't missing anything.
