Janet should've done what she did with Damita Jo and had other producers give input and not have Dupri do the whole thing. Don't get me wrong - he brings the heat with a couple of the tracks. ("Show me", "With U" and "So excited" and "Call on me") But to have him executive produce the WHOLE project - BIG mistake.
She shoulda had Kanye and Dallas back again to bring some more heat to the project.
Janet's become complacent. She needs to come fresh and new.
Had she done more sophisticated and sexy shoots (such as the Black cat shoot which is the hottest I've seen her look since The Velvet rope days) and released a stronger lead single. ("Show me" woulda tore shit up with a hot video) 20 Y.O may have fared better.

It just seems like whenever celebrities get some dick in their lives, their musical careers suffer. Jennifer Lopez dedicated her whole album to Ben and look what happened. Christina Milian's career has definitely been hurt by Dre's presence. Jay-Z rapping stupid ass verses on B's songs that ain't even her style. Over and over it continues. When will they learn? Business and personal affairs should be kept seperate.
I don't know what album you were listening to but Janet's album was far from a flop. Your too wishy washy, one minute your praising and honering JAnet and the next your making these HATER comments. Get it together and chose a side.
