this happens all the time in the industry, it just appears lazy when the track ends up leaking lol
take for example Victoria Beckham and Beyonces what ever the track was called
I was never a big fan of Tweet but looking forward to her comeback indeed lol
songs hot, but wanted something a lil more edgey for first single, not just another T.I. collab for booast in sales, clearly didnt work for Nicole
*goes on hunt for Marios soon to be shelved album*

^ Yea... but even Hellen Keller knows that Beyonce KILLED Victoria with her version. Jazmine Sullivan did too.
Also... LMFAO @ Mario's album leaking a month and a half before it drops. That is SAD.
J Records know they wrong for that smh

Well I love the fact that she is vocally killing it. But what Fabizzle said, it has been very common in the music industry since the beginning of time. It comes down to who does it better. Resentment seems to be the hard example you all have right now (for purposes of me just being me....Jazmine Sullivan killed it over the other two chicks). But nobody really remembers, or knew for that matter, that my baby also did this with a song. It was Aaliyah with Come Over. That song was originally Changing Faces off that horrid last album that they did. Clearly we know who made the song hot. I say let's give it a chance and see what happens. Although her ass needs to sing more on it and give me those hot Tweet runs I've been enjoying for years.

So Tweet is back to R&B again? If my memory serves me correctly, her last CD was mostly acoustic (except for “Turn the Lights Out” produced by Kwame). It sounds like there may be some interesting things going on in the background of this song, but I can’t tell based on this poor quality.

the song was going to be on TI's album but ciara didn't record it in time because she claimed to be too busy

Why is Tweet doing leftovers?? I'm just a lil disappointed because I love Tweet and I know she can definitely BRING IT with the originality and soul moreso than most folks out now. However, I like her version of the song way better than the Ciara version.. It's like Ciara's tone doesn't match T.I.'s tone as well and they sound more like they are clashing.. Now that I listen to the song in my headphones, the beat is definitely tight (besides that annoying timb/Danja synth thingy goin on)

I don't know why Tweet is tryna do this over. she needs to trash it. T.I. & Ciara sounded good on it and their beat sounded better. and yes, the lyrics were better too. I don't blame you for disliking the song, but I think you woulda loved Ciara's version. I loved Tweet's 'Oops oh my' 'Call me' & 'Turn Da Lights Off'. TDLO should have gotten more airtime. Very HOT song!
