That "Upgrade U" video looks cheap. It reminds me alot of the "Deja vu" video: with the whole in the water, different look, exotic, outdoor deal going on. "Upgrade U"'s video shoulda been straight up B rockin' it out gangsta: the whole Evisu jeans, Timberlands and short fur hooded coat deal she dropped in "Lose my breath". She look HOT in that look.
I can see all the videos looking cheap. Especially seeing as she's paying for them herself and they're not plugging singles. Still - it'll help album sales if they air on TV channels.
I still think it's messed how Kelly has an album on the way, yet Beyonce's re-release is getting more attention and coverage. I wish Kelly would wake the f**k up and realise she needs to sack Mathew Knowles and get a mamnager who gives a damn about her solo career. Or better still - go get it herself and take some initiative.
The videos look expensive to me. She was dancing around in private jets and back of cars I could only pretend to own. But its Beyonce we're talking about so something always have to be negative.

You say that David, but she rocks a somewhat smart thug look in that video. *lol* Also, a video doesn't always have to match the lyrics. Look at "Deja vu". What did her wandering around a swamp and dancing like a crazy bitch have to do with the song?
My idea was just you'd see her looking a little thuggish in a setup, to show she can hold it down for her man on his level.
"Upgrade U" definitely looks cheap to me. There's not much to it. I still like the video, but it coulda been better. A song as hot as that deserved a much better video IMO. She should've out right FLOSSED HARDER than putting zircon in her mouth and a gold plate thats ays Upgrade. *LOL* She still looks mad sexy though.
As for Kelly - she has a new single, but her ass isn't on TRL and BET. I'm wasn't even blaming Beyonce, I'm blaming her father. He's supposed to be managing Kelly too, but her album gets pushed back constantly and she only appears at cheap parties looking ragged. She could take the initiative and work it out like B is - but if Mathew isn't giving her the platform to do so - how can she? Kelly needs to sack his ass. He's only got time for his daughter, which is understandable - that is his blood at the end of they day.

I mean come on.... everyone seems to forget that about 5 months ago, everyone and they MAMA was doggin out B. And then Irreplaceable drops, and Listen from Dreamgirls, and all of a sudden the album everyone said was wack... well it's being banged in EVREYONE's car and everyone is coppin it. Reason is, it was hot from JUMP. But fans are fickle and immature. And B knows that, which is why she scaled down the videos and brought it back to stuff that people can "handle" because watch her re-release blow the fuck UP. That's why she is re-releasing it. And she's already at 2.5 mil. Don't be surprised if she moves up to 4xplat at the end of this.
And back to Kelly...regardless if she has a new single, she's not on TRL or BET because it's WACK. And you don't go on there unless you have a video for it and it's getting airplay, and that song is getting none of the above. Why? Because it's WACK.
I love Kelly, but to me she doesn't seem like a "go getter." If you want something in life, even when everyone tells you, you can't have it... you gotta go make it happen. Kelly is paid.. she is just chillin. But if she wants a hit album, she better crank out some songs like "Bad Habit" off Destiny Fulfilled, or otherwise she can forget about it
