"Growing Pains" is a stellar CD, but I think that shit we're supposed to call a video for "Stay Down" was the nail in the coffin. It was poorly managed, also . She should release "Come To Me (Peace)" or "Hurt Again" IMO.

Great performance . The soul in her voice always gets me.

I love this CD, its amazing,...Fade Away and Whats Love....I love those songs so much, but this was a A+ album....

I'm proud of Mary. I think she's found her niche. She's comfortable. At a moment a few years ago, she was trying to find her sound again, shit everyone was. I think she's found it, and she's doing a great job. My mom has yet to take 'Growing Pains' out of her car stereo.

Growing Pains was the shit. I'm glad people have recognized now how solid of an effort that CD was. Easily one of the best R&B efforts from a female in 07, outside of Jill Scott.

I still don't think Growing pains is that brilliant a CD. I love "Feel like a woman", "Stay down", "Hurt again" (CRACK!!!!!) and "Smoke" and that's it. But each to their own. It'd be boring if we all liked the exact same thing the same.
