thats was good. But i say if u can fall in love u can fall out of love and marriage has to be built on more than love. Coming from my experience my parents were married 15 years and they love each other, they been divorced 6 and still has some form of love for each other. And there just comes a point in every marriage where there are going to be challenges and then u have your breaking point where u just cant deal with certain situations any longer and u have to do what u got to do for yourself. whether there are kids involved or whateva. Alot of people try and stay together for the kids which is just ridiculous to me cause what kind of enviroment does that leave for the kids to live in where dad and mom are doing whoever, whatever, whenever. there is no kind of stability or structure. Would u rather be miserable and married OR happily divorced.
I love this show! I love Tamia, too, and she is so underrated in a field where mediocrity succeeds and talent is not needed.

happily divorced is an oxymoron. If you made a covenant with GOD you don't break it other than the reasons outlined in God's Word. God HATES divorce. You have an obligation to do whatever it takes to make it work. You don't make a convenant with the Creator and then break it because you're doing what you gotta do for "yourself". Marriage is all about being self LESS. It's all about agape love...the same love that Christ loved us with when He died for our sins. We did NOTHING to earn it. Your spouse should have to do nothing to earn the things you promised you would give. What does for better or for worse mean then? My goodness. It REALLY means for better or for worse. I think if young folks would start looking at marriage for how deep it is and how delicate it is to GOD they would stop taking it so lightly. Marriage is designed to represent the relationship between Christ and His bride, The Church. Wow!!! How much of a responsibilty is that?

Marriage doesn't work, I'm sorry but it doesn't. Most marriages break up, and I'm sure that the other percentage are unhappy marriages. When people say: "my parents were married for 50 years, so its possible". I'm just like, well my grandparents were married until my granddad past away, but that marriage wasn't a happy marriage.

I think Irv is a coward. He is a lazy ass bum. I truly respect Tamia and Iyanla V.'s way of thinking and perspective. The only work Irv ever thought of putting into a marriage was taking his d!ck and sticking SuperHead and Ashanti with it and probably a slew of other hoes. I have no respect for this man and he sits there like a kid on everything. Marriage isn't impossible and it does work. Life isnt perfect. We as humans walk a death walk everday in order to reject the flesh we must die every single day so that we are renewed again. I guess living right is just too hard.

Yep you're right...if you're not Born Again, marriage probably won't work...not the way it was intended to.If you are a child of God, you still may have a jacked up marriage if you're ignorant as to what marriage is for. As the age old adage says, "You're bound to abuse that of which you do not know the purpose."
