"Deja vu" was nice for rolling in the car to. But as a lead single, that shit was underwhelming. My fave Beyonce songs have to be "Brown eyes", "Yes", "Upgrade U" and "Green light". I also have a soft spot for "Naughty girl" because she killed it with the vocals. I remember rinsing that track like mouthwash when I first bought Dangerously in love.

I gotta disagree with you here. She's bellowing with passion at 0:19, and her voice practically cracks at 0:27 because she's singing with so much emotion. From 2:50 on, she sounds like she's punching the air. And she hits the high notes around 3:20!
This is raw and I love it, it reminded me of "No One" remembering how the first reaction of many commenters on this very blog were complaining about how Alicia sounded off-key and bad. And we all know how "No One" and "As I Am" ended up. I honestly don't think this is a demo. The vocals have been layered already, it sounds great to hear her singing so candidly, it's rough because that's part of the message the song sends lyrically, just like "No One." LOVE THIS.
