Now that the congratulations are out of the way, I thought her performances were great (and she was looking good)! I think she's just going to be another underrated R&B artist from another country

I was one of the 14,000+ that supported Estelle, but I don't think her promotion was sufficient. She doesn't get any airplay and I hardly see her video. None of my music buying friends knows who she is. I only know because sites like this.

Uh, no. It's Maurice Joshua. Check out his remix to Crazy in Love! I play that one more than I do the original. It's a dance mix but it's got a mellow groove to it! I listen to that when I'm in the zone!
Estelle is my homegirl! I love her voice! Her live performances of American Boy are always better than the record!
It's really sad that Estelle isn't having much success here in the US. I picked up her CD this past week because it's amazing, but lemme tell ya, it wasn't an easy task...
I went where I usually go for new releases--Target--they always have a ton of copies of everything. ~Not one single copy of Estelle's CD in the entire store.~ She didn't even have a section.
Then, I went to Best Buy. I had to look in the E's in the R&B section of course &, though she had no slot, there was a whopping ONE copy. Not anymore though...
They just aren't stocking the thing. Why, idk, because she's been on Letterman & Ellen ... doh!
lil daddy i mean mama it looks like it might be a rap for you huns lol no.1 w/ lip gloss and top 5 single with chris brown & t-pain, mad promotions, judge on one of the hottest breakout tv shows Americas best dance crew and like 10 videos and she only sold 19,000??? sad

She spent her whole budget getting big name producers and T-Pain and Chris Brown on a song. Her album sales won't even break her even on her budget... she's now in debt.

I bought Estelle's record and honestly the ones that didn't are the losers in this situation.
wow that's sad 4 the both of them and they are actually very talented, there albums are hot to but I don't even think madonna really sold much neither lol I just think that was bad timing to drop a album because April 29 is the end of the month in most people are broke by then in have to pay bills. Will just wait in see if there sales go up this week. In hopefully they don't get droped from there lables
She didn't sell any albums because she's not talented. I think once people heard that awful "American Boy" song, they realized that whoever was comparing her to Lauryn Hill clearly wasn't in their right state of mind.
