I'm officially buying her new album SoL-AngeL and the Hadley St. Dreams. Everything I've heard from it is great, and yea Toya, if these songs were given to Beyonce, she'd be recognized for them.
I'm not fussed on it yet, i'll give it a few more listens. I'm sure i'll get to like it. 
I'm also loving the whole oldskool sound Solange is going for. I hope she has a collabo with Gnarls Barkley.
I love "I Decided", especially the freemasons version. She could be really big over in the UK with that sound. But I just see her flopping really badly in the US. 
I do hope "I Decided" gets into the top 40 in the hot 100.
@ NR, me too. I think if they send her out to Mainstream/Pop/R&B/Top 40 stations, she'd blow up like Amy Winehouse, possibly. I Decided is an excellent song.

Well, this is no Sandcastle Disco, but it's ok. Probably my least favorite of all the leaked songs so far. It's a grower.

I love "I Told You So." The melody is beautiful. It's already in my head. Plus, honestly, my mind is ignoring the fact that her voice isn't the best thing I've ever in my life (though it's definitely acceptable). That's what good production and a lot of effort, quality control, and musical direction does for you. Another great thing is that she is KILLING the background vocals in these songs that have leaked. They sound complete...like songs are supposed to sound. I am so impressed right now.
Verdict: Marks "SoL-AngeL and the Hadley St. Dreams" on list of future albums to buy.

I'm liking the musical aspect of the song, but Solange only sounds well when she's singing in a high register. I love the girl and am a BCC lifetime member, but her voice irritates me.
I WILL be buying the album though, best believe it.
After this one I think I'm gonna stop listening to leaked tracks from Solange, othrwise I probably won't enjoy her album and I really want to enjoy her album!
She needs to work on her vocal delivery because she hasn't mastered her voice at all.

Even though it hasn't been officially sent to Radio here in the UK, I've heard the Freemasons remix of I Decided being played quite a few times noW!!! I think it's possible that she will get atleast a top 5 here, and maybe even a #1!!! Radio 1 are going to A list it definately!!! She needs to promote it as well!

I just took a second listen, now I don't think I like it! David's right her vocals sound awful, all quaky and screechy.
Oh gosh when she sings the "I told u so" part it sounds like she has to boo boo....I am not feeling it at all and I think she should go back to writing sorry Solange.
I think her vocals sound raw, which is a good thing. Sometimes they do sound strained but I think that's more of her emotions or something kicking in. Feeling this shit sooo much!
