Kelly looks really nice -- her skin is flawless. Although I don't think she is that hung up on Beyonce to be honest! For once, Beyonce's clothes are not overly flamboyant which is nice to see. They all look happy and nice to see successful black people rolling in PACKS!

so i finally saw beyonce's real hair in the Diary of her that was on youtube. So the hair in the ring the alarm was actually hers, why doesnt she flaunt it more? (when she was crying.)
Kelly looks so good! And i didn't know Gianni Versace was known as the greatest italian designer. I thought that notion went to Giorgio Armani or Gucci.
Also, why is Alicia being honored. Is this supposed to be for career achievement. I think that's ver premature. What is BET Honors in the first place? Is it like Walk of Fame or something, which BET needs to do more over because so many younger listeneres don't know about the Legends that have had such an impact on artists today. Anyways, I could see if its for entertainment, but if this is a legends award, they are wrong because i feel like Alicia's career isn't over or has gotten to a point where she is just on cruise control. I would like to see her put out a project that is still good but doesn't attract listeners, then see her bounce back like Mary and Mariah and so many others. That's a true legend.

There was nothing premature about Alicia's award and she deserved it. It's for African American's who are making a big impact in their respective fields. For example, Tyra Banks was honored for the Media category.

None of Alicia's albums have been critically acclaimed or hailed as a classic. In fact, that's the only thing that I feel is missing from her... because she's more talented than damn near everyone. So I want that classic album from her.
But besides that, she's one of the baddest to ever do it, and she deserves every single accolade she receives. She personifies true artistry, and we are absolutely witnessing a legend in the making.

@ Gosh, r u kiding me. She's just like the Roberta Flack of the new millenium. She does not have her own sound. She just knows how to convert neo-soul so that it's hot. The same thing was said about Mary sort of being a neo-soul artists, but knowing how to make it mainstream (being able to sell). And spokesperson? There are so many people who have more advertisements than her. This award was very premature in my opinion. She hasn't even sold that many records for u to bring it up as a strong point. I'm just waiting to see when she burns out.

A number of entertainers were named in connection with an Albany-based steroid investigation, but are not part of an ongoing criminal probe, according to a published report.
The Times Union of Albany cited unnamed sources in a Sunday report that R&B music star Mary J. Blige, rap musicians 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry may have received or used performance enhancing drugs.
Albany District Attorney P. David Soares launched a Albany-based investigation into steroid trafficking last year. Law enforcement officials have said evidence does not indicate that the celebrities broke the law. Officials are focusing on the doctors, pharmacists and clinics that provide the drugs.
Ken Sunshine, a spokesman for Tyler Perry declined comment. Calls to representatives for the musicians were not immediately returned Sunday.
Soares has declined to comment on or confirm the identities of the stars mentioned in the report. His multistate investigation has focused on Signature Pharmacy of Orlando, Fla. So far 10 defendants have pleaded guilty and some professional athletes have been linked to the probe in news reports.
Soares has said Signature was at the center of a web of businesses and doctors that illegally wrote prescriptions for steroids. The investigation gained national attention almost a year ago when authorities raided Signature. The company’s owners and the pharmacy’s operators are awaiting trial in Albany on related charges.
Records shared with the Times Union and information from several cooperating witnesses on Long Island indicate the celebrities received prescribed human growth hormone or steroids. In some cases aliases were used for their delivery.
Former Sen. George Mitchell released his report last month on performance-enhancing drugs in baseball.
The report said former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski provided steroids and human growth hormone linked to several prominent players.
Radomski pleaded guilty last year to charges that he dealt steroids to players for a decade.
Hearings are set to begin this month in Congress on the Mitchell report.
