^ I highly doubt this was britney's idea. I think it's Jive pushing to keep the album relevant and make money off of her. But I guess none of us will ever really know...hopefully it turns out alright.

Have you seen Britney other 2 videos for this album? THOSE were embarrassing. A cartoon Britney will be much more entertaining than our current Britney could ever be. She probably opted out of the video once she found out clean panties were a requirement.

Love all the songs from 'Blackout', could've have had "Radar" be a bonified pop smash hit, or an instant club banger with "Get Naked (I Got a Plan", but I'm not saying "Break the Ice" isn't pop perfection, just wish she would have chosen another single. & did anyone else freak out when they announced that "Hot As Ice" was gonna be the 3rd single? I thought she could've blown her fucking head off at that second and ruining her chances of having smash singles. We'll just have to see how the video comes out.

I'd rather watch 4 minutes of anime than home girl stumbling around with a raccoon weave and fishnets. "Break the ice" would most definitely need to have the hottest dance routine as we all know Britney isn't capable of anything but looking a wreck.
It's a shame though because "Break the ice" is a hot track and I would've loved to have seen Britney look hot and throw down how she did in the "Slave 4 U" video.
I don't see the point in Jive releasing anything more off of Blackout if Britney isn't going to promote and show she remotely cares. I don't know why they released Blackout in the first place. It was a complete waste. Danja and Bloodshy & Avant put in WORK for that girl just for to f**k up.

@ gosh ~ You know we've had our differences over Britney (and this is obviously no exception), but if we need to give her break, she needs to take one. If she (or her people) thought she wasn't in a position to put out and album and properly promote it, then it shouldn't have been done in the first place. Now all of her fans are saying "Oh she's going through stuff so give her a break". That's a bunch of BS. That's a cop out if I ever heard one. She needs to give us a break and go get her lame ass some help.
I think we should wait and c wot the vid will b like before judging it. It might still have a hot dance routine, though I agree wit who ever said radar wuz have been a better choice than break the ice.

I agree 100% with Mia. Jive shouldn't have released Blackout at all. Britney was clearly in no position to do what was required of her to push this album and promote it effectively. Jive pimped Britney. They wanted to capitalize on her breakdown and thought that her constant media coverage would sell the album alone, but it didn't. Fans and the music buying public won't spend money on an album from a girl who isn't putting in any effort; not only with her music, but her kids and her life in general. Blackout was and still is a hot album, but her train wreck life was eclipsing the music itself and no matter how hot an album is, it NEEDS to be promoted.

Ain't no such thing as "Give her a break" when she is out at gas stations at 3 in the morning with a British accent. She needs to sit her ass in the house and give us a break. I'm tired of seeing CNN top newsline stories with helicopters videotaping another one of her fiascos. Clearly she, nor her people, are that pressed to make her take a break. And that's the sad part.

So no, dont give her break. She chose to do the meth, she chose to get knocked up, and she chose to watch that damn movie. Blackout could have been fly if she was her old self but I'm not giving her a break when its some people workin their ass off on promotions and don't get the album sales she does cause she's a overrated drugged out slut.
