I enjoyed the video. I liked t he fact that it was different and as far as the song goes it seesm to be a very generic and safe JD song...but it's the type that has done well in the past (ex. "Shake It Off" production wise) I think that she released this because it is similar to past hits and that's what she needs now, a safe hit song to generate sales. It's not worth risking it by releasing a song that may be too different from what people are used to.
I think if Rihanna "take a bow" and Chris Brown "forever" can do well this should definately do well.
By the way, I think the video would've been better if Melina would've green screened a house into the background instead of it being black.

"Good good" is so boring. It's a blatant Jermaine Dupri production and sounds like a whack, unfinished version of "Shake it off". I think this would've made a better third single than second though. I think Ashanti should've gone with "You're gonna miss". That joint is FIRE! Easily my fave song off of The declaration.
The video to "Good good" is cute. But the song is so boring that it causes you to switch off, regardless of how fine and colourful Ashanti looks in the video.

This SUCKS, she lives up to her nickname Ashitty though. Good Good sounds lazy and boring, the video made it worse, low budget and not worth the watch. That album was horrible too, no wonder I forgot to mention her along with Janet's Discipline and Cherish's The Truth being the worst 'R&B' albums of 2008.
This was my first time hearing the song and I thought both the song and video were great. I can really hear urban stations and other stations playing this. I can see chicks in their cars, blasting this song with the windows down, screaming "I Got That Good, Good", that's why I think the song would be a hit. This actually makes me want to check out her album.

I actually cannot watch the video since I am at work, but I look forward to seeing it. I actually think it is a fun summer song, but i guess females who don't have that Good Good wouldn't understand that.
It is really sad that instead of uplifting and encourages those who are out there fulfilling their dream people choose to criticize and talk bad about others. That is why society is messed up right now. I support all of the male and female artists who has to drive and guts to work at accomplishing their dreams.
Well I enjoyed the video, very much as I did the album. I don't really care for the haters opinions because it amounts to this much...their opinions don't matter.
It's all about personal response. I hated Ashanti after her wonderful debut, which everyone in my hood bumped, for a very long time. To me "The Declaration" is the deserving follow up to it. It's very fresh and she's improved vocally.
The same goes for Beyonce for me. I loved Dangerously In Love save for the last two tracks. I HATED B'day and her. Now I'm loving Kick Em' Out, Beautiful Nitemare and New Shoes. Three great songs that are more so reflective or a growing artist than what she attempted to put out on B'day.
So yea, with that said, GO ASHANTI! Here's to hoping that she releases "In These Streets".

What do you think everybody is doing to Ashanti? That’s right, their generalizing. Every kind of folk up in here, is generalzing, critisizng, bashing, her look, her music, her presonality, her personal relationship with Nelly. With that being said, you can’t generalize her, simply because of her “entertainment” then turn around and say, don’t generalize me or us as women. How do you think Ashanti feels? Her hate, ridicule, and break down is very public. Which makes it much worse. You guys are in the privacy of your own hme, and can hide behind your computer screens (hint hint). She can’t.

First it was, she can’t sing.

After that, it became her laugh and personality is annoying (which it isn’t).
Following that was, she’s wack, she’s Ashitty, and every other disrespectful and disgusting name in the book.
Now, it’s her video is too sexual, her song is too sexual, she’s a hood rat, she set women back a million years with this, Nelly cheats on her, she’s dumb, Good Good ain’t going to keep no man. Her video is trash. Her career is over, she flopped.
Geez, that’s a lot of hate and resentment, and definately generalizing. After that long list I just typed, don’t you think the girl deserves a break? The ironic thing about it is, the next chick can come along and do the same exact thing. But the difference would be, people would gladly embrace her for it. Sing her praises. But continue to single out and take part in tearing down Ashanti, all because she isn’t considered “well-liked” by the “compuster screen bandits.”

Now I am sorry but maybe I am truly missing something here...but since when has it been bad to criticize a persons music. I won't call her a hoe because I don't know what she does in her personal life. However, I think Beyonce gets so much more praise than other artists because she is actually TALENTED. Kitty Kat, while it was speaking in regards to sex and taking her kitty back from a man who isn't meeting her halway, it was an actual good song.
