I'm sorry, but I think Keri Hilson is amazing. Energy has got to be my favorite song in the world. I feel every word she's saying. I love her more now after seeing her interview on 106. This girl actually said that she's met plenty of people more talented than her who will never get the chance to be in the spotlight. If that isn't humble, then I don't know what is. The girl has an amazing personality, and I, for one, loved the video.

I really like this song and I feel as though if she promotes it, it will have moderate success FOLLOWED by a Smash hit 2nd single (must be uptempo & different).
I like the video because she looks SEXY as hell! The concept is cool but lets be honest, she's playing it SAFE.
Solonge on the other hand is coming out with different music and music videos...I thought Keri would do THAT but take it up 10 notches.
If she doesn't have the EFFORT & ENERGY to promote this song, it will flop HARD.
Being such a successful songwriter, creative soul, sexy young woman, and talented singer with the potential to be a breakout artist, there really is NO REASON WHY Keri shouldn't succeed with her debut album. (Unless Timbaland's shit management molds into Diddy's way of managing artist on a half ass level).
Finally found the "Energy" to watch it - I was expecting something mediocre and boring but it's actually a brilliant video - it's made me like the song even more!
Way to go Keri. She needs to do a nice Timbaland remix for it now though!

Well I must say that I loooooooooooooooved this video. I was a little weary that it would come out corny but she has never looked more beautiful. The story was relatable and I LOVED the extra verse in it instead of that way too long instrumental break. I can't wait to buy this on itunes.

I love the video, I don't care what anyone says, I think she knows how to get attention to her, whether it's good or bad, and this video is entertaining none-the-least, while you watch a relationship fall apart slowly. Congrats Keri. 
I liked it. It was different. While not all that innovative and something that I will need to watch again, I just hope Keri is promoted well and puts out good singles. I really dont care to much about alot of pop. I am now looking forward to her, Brandy and Beyonce. Michelle and Solange have disappointed me. I cant take anymore of Solanges scratchy voice and skeleton beat, 70's inspired, Cee-Lo songs and Michelle's Euro-pop-synth songs....they are killing me. So c'mon Brandy and Keri and Beyonce!!!

Keri Hilson's first video to appear in was Xzibit's Hey Now being that she sung the hook in that song her dance moves were much like Ciara she had the long weave and guess what i have to say she has found herself and grown as an artist i'm proud of the girl

Ok, I'm just gonna be blunt, if Keri doesn't have anything to offer other than T&A (which I have no interest in) I don't think she deserves any type of solo success.
That song is mediocre at best and that was a shitty video to top off it. She can't dance based off what we've seen so far. WTF was she doing in that video? She looked retarded.
I was rooting for her all the way up until this year. She's turning into a major disappointment for me.
That video was boring as hell. Keri looked hot in the video, but that's about it. I'm glad she kept that Queen Amidala wig at home. That shit makes her look terrible.
So much more could've been done with the video concept. The end result feels like such a waste. The song grows on me with every listen though. I like it more than I did when I first heard it. I like how they actually added verse for the bridge too. The version of the song I have doesn't have her singing on that part and it always seemed odd there was no verse on it. I'm glad they sorted it.
I'll be copping her album for sure, I just hope it's good and Timbaland comes correct. Because "Return the favor" sounds mad lacking and "Get it girl" was throwaway despite the beat being hot. I'll be looking to Polow to lace her with one of those "Promise"-esque, Prince style joints.

I agree with Nick. Y'all were doing to much looking into the video fro every single detail. If you just watched the video along with the lyrics, you'd see how much they meshed hand in hand. "Energy" was a very powerful song before the video, and now with the extra verse...the statement just makes itself even more relevant. I've never even been on a date but I relate because I understand what's she's saying. You can't stretch and wear yourself out for love in you're not gonna recognize yourself in the end.
With that said. AWESOME video Keri. I'm glad Melina didn't make her and Ashanti's vid's look as cheap as the one's she did for B'Day.
