This DEFINITELY has the same vibe as 702's "I still love you". It's the cowbells. That was such a jam and it still is. The chorus was ridiculous. The same goes for "Star". Both were and still are killer songs.
I tend not to like when The Neptunes work with Faith though. Their working together sounds like they're trying to hard and the end results are usually songs that would've sounded better in the hands of somebody else. "Going out" was some bullshit and "Burning up" should've gone to Britney or Beyonce. It had the same bounce as "Slave 4 u", but has that Neptunes funk that we know Beyonce works wonders with.

702 split up right after the release of the "I Still Love You" single, then got back together again to make the video for "Star," then split up again. And Kamilah, the former lead singer of 702, is managed by Faith's husband and sings back-up for her in the meantime.
To put it blunty, 702 are dead. Removed from the game. Finished. That group was never going to succeed with members that ragged and a lead singer that dark.

Ooh, that's harsh, J! LOL I thought they were some pretty young ladies and I thought the 'lead' singer sang the best. "Steelo" is one of my fav. songs by them...at least I think that's the title. I can see the video and hear the chorus, but God it's been a long time! LOL
^^truth be told, er'body don't like darkies-no matter ya skill-us darkies get low-scores(I say us cuz towards in of summertime i'm baked, and I notice I get less phone numbers until spring hit....yeah.....maybe its the season change?
