I'll be buying Mariah's. The whole album is on my Zen and I've been listening non-stop. It's not amazing but it's enjoyable and fun.

If E=MC2 isn't as close to classic Mariah as you can get, then I don't know what is. It still trips me out how y'all act like TEOM is all that.
Lyrically, vocally, melodically, prdoduction wise, and coherentl, it tops the last album.
I guess it's all down to opinions and preferences. For my own personal reasons, I take TEOM over E=MC˛ any day of the week. The production was better and a lot more polished IN MY OPINION. This new album seems a lot more forced, again, that's my opinion.
I'm interested to see how Mariah is going to fare with this album.
Let me ask you this, Toya. How well do you understand Mariah's personality and know about her. If knowing her like a hard-core fan than you see that every song contains a huge chunk of her personality; whether its a joke, Mariahism, experience, etc. The whole album tells you exactly who she is as a person and artist.
On top of that, just vocally, lyrically, melodically this album is better. I say production-wise, too but you disagree with that.

Also, track for track, each song tops its counterpart on TEOM, with the exception of track 2 (TMB vs WBT.
Most people only like half of TEOM, if that, but on this only 1 or 2 tracks are generally unliked. It was TMB, O.O.C., and Last Kiss, but from checking fan boards, Last Kiss and OOC have grown and TMB is just the weakest on the album.

Last Kiss is a nice song. I just can't stand JD's vocals. The weakest songs are Touch My Body and O.O.C and the same with TEOM, I disliked two tracks (To The Floor and Say Something). Both albums have been her strongest THIS decade. You're not changing my mind no matter how much you try to dispute it Like I say, everyone has their preferences. No one's opinion is right or wrong so stop acting like that's the case.
I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just curious to why you think TEOM is stronger when vocally, lyrically, and melodically this is stronger and is truly her setting her personality and talent free.
