How can you laugh at a girl like that...all the stuff she's been going through with her mother and her having to take care of her...her spirit was so uplifting and she felt like she had let her family down by not advancing...do oyu have a heart Toya because this is unlike you.

Yeah Toya that was unexpected of you. You seem more supportive of families and even children. I really did not expect that from you. When I saw this I started to giggle but what stopped me in my tracks was her story.
It was so sad when she cried and was afraid to go back out as a loser. She wanted for her mom and truthfully that is the most amazing WIN ever.

When she started to sing the first line, I turned the channel because I really was rooting for her but I could already tell she couldn't sing. Her facial expressions made me want to laugh but cry with her all the same. It was sad

The song title is wrong, but for Temptress Brown's rendition, it fits! Lmao! She knew what she was doing playing on people's sympathy and wearing all that GOTDAMN brown. I am not even feeling bad for messing with the girl.

Her story is sad but I'm tired of seeing the sob stories. They should rename it DEPRESSION IDOL or some shit like that. A sob story isn't going to get you through if you're not a great singer. All it does is make the judges feel guilty for turning them down. I am really sad about her story and I feel for her, TRULY I do but it seems a bit desperate in the end.

I see what your talking about Toya, i was wondering like - EVERYONE has a sad story now in American Idol. It wasn't like this before. And I know a lot of good singers are past up because they dont have an exciting story or sad story to tell. One of my friends from school said she didnt get to see Paula, Simon, or Randy because the producers wanted to know their lifestory before they went in. And she actually could SANG.
I am not trying to be mean but if you came on the show to display your singing talent then put more focus into that. A sob story is not needed if you truly have the talent.
I'm sorry... it was a sad story, but it was part comedy too. That mom was at LEAST 600 pounds.

If she didn't make it, American Idol should have never showed it. Number 1, why are they talking to her like she's 5 in the begiining. 2nd, they knew people were gonna laugh at her, so its the producers fault. They knew what they were doing, and if people laugh, o well. It's all about ratings. If a black person were the producer, they would've refused to include this unless she made it cause they knew black people was gonna laugh, and ignorant young white people as well. The only demographic that wouldn't laugh is older white people, depending on where they live, u kno.
Also, her name isn't that bad for a stage name. Temptress Brown is actually catchy. Although, some people might even take it as a pornstar's name.
