I'm also definitely getting Lyfe and seriously considering Raven. I liked a few of her songs that I've heard.

Food is too high to be putting it in other peoples' mouths.
I might buy Estelle's new album. I'm not sure. I don't like every single song, and that's one of my prerequisites when buying albums. $20 on an album is no joke 
. Especially when it only has 12 songs...

Most places that sell albums that cheaply don't have them until a week or 2 after they are released (for me at least).
Damn, Mike where the hell do you shop for CD's? Best Buy sells all new CD's for $9.99 the week of the their release. Wal-Mart and Target carry them for $13.99. I wouldn't pay $20 for ANYONES album!

Circuit City has Estelle's cd for $8.99 this week. I didn't see her advertised anywhere else, but I'm sure prices are comparable at Target and Best Buy.

I have to do some traveling to get to those stores...The mall is conveniently 5 minutes away. There are some stores downtown where I live that sell them at that price, but take awhile to put them on sale.

Hard Candy is awful, productions good but Madonnas voice is on one annoying level
not interested in the others, I need to finish listening to Lil Mamas got to L.I.F.E serious track right there Im guessing the rest of the album is deep in places! shes very talented indeed

btw toya, that is not Raven's debut album. (and i'm not counting her rap albums back when she was a kid). She released an album like 2 or 3 years ago titled 'This is My Time' or something like that. It was an ok album.

Madonna... nah... downloaded the leaked tracks and did not get impressed at all with what I heard. Have actually deleted those files already -- waste of precious megabytes IMO. Buying the cd would be a waste of my hard earned dollar.
Not really interest in the rest of the other releases this week.
That being said, I hope Estelle gets a good first week sales. She did not get as much promotion as Leona Lewis, but I think she's equally, if not more, deserving of praise and attention.

Jesse's version is great but it's weird hearing him sing the high parts. His voice sounds so processed around 1:55. It sounds mental.
I was GOING to buy Madonna's but then when I heard the clips they sucked ass.
Raven's album is PURE FIYAHHH.. everyone go out any buy it.. it's amazing! I was very surprised by this one

Madonna's album has been slated left right and centre by the british media - and I agree, it's not that good. It sounds like it was rushed, and doesn't even really sound like rnb - just a hot grannyfied mess

Estelle-Nope. She's talented, but her music is not for me.
Raven-Uhhh...she just cannot catch a break, huh? She needs to stick with her show and let Miley and Hillary do all the singing even though they cannot touch her. She's soooo talented vocally, but she does not make good music in my opinion.
Madonna-I like 4 Minutes, but the rest is too Timberland-Nelly Fertado ish for me.
Oh and that cover of Bleeding Love by JM is absolutely terrible. Who told him he could sing? I didn't even make it all the way through the track before ear-death settled in. How do you take a power-house song of like 4 octaves and sing the entire thing on 2 notes and then T-Pain the rest of it? LOL.

He did write the song and he recorded it before Leona. You have to remember that he's a guy so he isn't going to by any means have powerhouse vocals. I thought he did a great job.
Madonna's Hard candy is just okay to me. "4 minutes" is not indicative or a reflection of the rest of the album in any way - and is a crap song. But all of the other songs are more accessible and don't feel like they're trying so hard.
The production is a mixed bag though. Camp Timbo came really weak aside from the brilliant "Miles away". Pharrell produced Camp Timbo under a Verizon bus!! That n***a did not miss a beat. Madonna sings with some life on his productions and I like how she sounds alongside Pharrell who sings on near enough all of his productions. He did a great job of channelling the old "Into the groove" era Madonna - where-as Camp Timbo's productions are more like her recent socially conscious, controlled stuff.
If there's 2 songs you need to check from the album, it's gotta be "Heartbeat" and "Miles away". I've been KILLING "Heartbeat" for days now. Madonna needs to be dropping it as a single. The chorus is crack.
The problem I had with Hard candy (aside from Camp Timbo's weak throw in productions) was that I felt Gwen Stefani could've done the whole entire thing better. Madonna's voice does kill some of the songs and Gwen would've done the songs the way they were intended and brought more to them. It wouldn't surprise me if Pharrell did many of the songs with her in mind.
