Gravatar Another New Teairra Mari Track

This one is called 'Exclusive'

http://www.zshare.net/download/1...773108b450af82/

Gravatar Am I the only that doesn't like the No No single?

Gravatar If you listen very closely to the lyrics of her song "U Said", you can see that she is surely talking about Jay-Z.ex: How he he gave her a "ROC" and then he took it back. How he promised her money, cars and succes and all of that.

Ya'll should listen to the track again.

Gravatar if there is a battle b/w rihoho and teiarra, i guess i can admit rihoho is winning in terms of success & popularity. Teiarra is thge better singer tho.

Gravatar Terria was bound to Brick, but Rihanna would have been in that same boat if she stayed true to her Reggae roots and everyone knows it, even Toya,

Gravatar I'm feeling Teairra's new music. That first single and "Exclusive" are both HOT!!

Gravatar First off, lemme just say: I can picture Toya basking in the sun and reveling in the triumph of Little Miss Talent (ahem) Rihanna.

I feel bad for TM. She fell victim to poor management. Her image too early on was already being hoochied and sexed up. That turned MTV and fans off, I think. Too bad as she is definitely the more gifted of the two (her and Rihanna).

Rihanna was managed better. She already had minor success and a small but loyal (and growing) following -- thanks to the likes of Toya et al, with her first cd. They tested the waters by taking risks - image-wise - with each album, and (much to my dismay) it paid off.

Right now, she has to work double, no quadruple hard, because along with the humiliation of being labeled dropped and an initial failure, she doesn't have any any prior success whatsoever to fall back on. People won't view this as a comeback, because there was nothing to come back to!

Another singer comes to mind. A certain Alicia Keys, who did not meet with success initially while at So So Def and Columbia, but blew up at J Records. Alicia's initial failure went under the radar, as she was never marketed as the "Princess of Roc-A-Fella Records" unlike TM.

Unless she does something to reinvent herself and distance herself from Ashanti's version of half-baked R&B, her career is sadly, pretty much dead.

Gravatar wow, im really impressed with anons comment. im hoping for sound management this time, and more 'marketable' r and b. if you listen to alicia's sounds, there are all sorts of influences from oldies pop to rock, and thats what makes her r and b different, appealing to all ages, and marketable. i wish teairra is able to carve a niche for herself in the cut throat industry. just r and b- well, thats become a 'no no'...

Gravatar I can't stand the single. I remeber watching this same girl in interviews way back when her and Jay were going to modeling shows and when he was in the video, you know when they thought she was going to blow up. Attitude stank and she did think RIRI was nothing, but you know, peep this album already said to be another flop!!!!!

Gravatar KARMA means that what goes around comes around TOYA. In other words, RIHANNA said that because she was good to people, good came back to her, she NEVER said or implied that Teairra was a BITCH. Why are you always SO DRAMATIC???

P.S. : You're welcome even though you didn't thank me, im the one who posted the link.

Gravatar You could tell she was about to really cry and get emotional...Poor thing. Hopefully this time around she get success..

Gravatar I like what "anon" said. Talent can't blow up alone, it NEEDS good management, anyway, anything can blow up with good management talented or not, no talentless entertainers can have longevity tho.

Gravatar What label is she signed to anyway?

Gravatar She's on Foreel/Interscope which is the same as Missez & Lil Flip...but they seem to be doing more for her than anybody. I think she'll do good, June 1st will be a nice day for her.

Gravatar toya nobody cares about t.error mari.

Gravatar I won't say she sounded full of her self before but she was definitely ridin on the success with "How A GIrl Feels" and had that "confidence" that she was going to be the shit.

I've always liked Teairra, way more than Riri and I'm glad the experience with Roc made her humble. I hope she does better on this next project.

Gravatar @ "Toya sucks"

it's funny you say that because hella amounts of people prefer t over riho anyday.

Gravatar "If you listen very closely to the lyrics of her song "U Said", you can see that she is surely talking about Jay-Z.ex: How he he gave her a "ROC" and then he took it back. How he promised her money, cars and succes and all of that.

Who cares? The song sucks!
I think she [Rihanna] was trying to be bitchy if she was asked about playing second fiddle and said that. It's like she's implying that Teairra wasn't good to people, but who knows....maybe she wasn't!

Gravatar Teairra had every reason to be a bitch; she is the more talented artist. Rihanna is pretty much a 2nd level Cassie.

Gravatar I agree with Nick & everybody on this post.....I love her & she is way more talented than Rihanna but wait she will get her shine & its coming soon!

The lists of producers shes working with are; Danja, Timbaland, Bryan Michael Cox, Scott Storch, Polow Da Don, The Clutch, Tim & Bob, Kanye West, Solange Knowles, and many more!
She stated this at the MTV Music/Video Awards last year!

Gravatar ^^^
I think that's WAAAY too many high-profile producers for 1 album!

Gravatar Teairra is soo pretty and she can really sing! She is sooo underrated...

Gravatar I love Tearri but that list isn't quite right...there's no way because she would not have come out with a 1st single produced by The Movement.

Gravatar Excuse me that was from her exact mouth!

Gravatar Teairra is sooo pretty she has always been better looking than Rihanna and anyone with eyes could see that. When they first came out Teairra outshined Rihanna, maybe Teairra didn't feel like sucking Jay's D**K so maybe that's why they seemed to have backed Rihanna more. Teairra so shits on Rihanna's vocals and FASHION sense. Trust without a stylist Rihanna would not dress the way she does, when she came out she was so tacky.

Gravatar Also this interview proves how classy, humble and mature Teairra is unlike Rihanna who talks way too damn much always keeping other folks name in her mouth I just wish she would learn to STFU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gravatar teiarra can sing her butt off..but for sum reason i dont like her..maybe cuz she acts like shes amillion bucks and she doesnt seem humble..i dunno i never liked her during interviews and shit like that but i like her music

Gravatar

All this post did was solidify the fact that she is going NOWHERE with her career. Stop bitching about how she's a better singer than Rihanna (really now, who isn't?!) and focus on what she's got going on now.

Gravatar like solange is in a better situation...

lmao!!!! at your comment! best way to start off my sunday morning! LMAO!!! girl who you trying to fool with that comment?

Gravatar I could imagine TM being mean & bitchy to Riri. They both came out and released their debuts on the same time. TM was more hip-hop/R&B and Rihanna was mo like Reggae & Dancehall; she could be perceived as the better artist. At the time, I would totally think TM is gonna step up the game and top the chart. But, the first single was kinda floppy and she went downhill while Pon De Replay hit No. 1.
She shouldnt blame anybody but herself... Riri gets a good point, ppl should always be humbled in evrything!

Gravatar @ toya sucks, well i'd rather be talked about then not talked about at all :D. That's just my cup of tea. Anywho, look at all these comments...I'd say more than half prefer miss Teairra Marie over Rihanna. Just a fact of life! Accept it and move on!

Gravatar Actually thinking about it I think Rihanna was the more popular artist from the get go so I don't know what she was going on about in that Peach interview. Pon de replay was major cross-over debut more so than make her feel good.

I agree. Teairra's songs way very urban and the lyrics were way to out there. She came across as a bird while Rhi was very humble and sweet. I always liked Rhi Rhi more from the jump. Alot of people liked Rihanna, i dont know anybody who didnt at that time. Plus Pon de Replay was a way bigger hit that song still goes hard today, its my fav song by her btw.Plus Dancehall was real hot that yr and was crossover material.

Gravatar Rihanna had better mgmt period Read about the guys who are Rihanna Handlers. These are guys are like Rihanna father she lived with them when she moved from Barbados Carl wife is also from Barbados http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evan_Rogers

Gravatar Rihanna and T.Mari basically had the same success with their first album. T.Mari actually was the better artist with "Make Her Feel Good" in the Urban scene and Rihanna with MTV. The reason T.Mari was dropped seemed kind of fishy, seeing they both sold the same amount of albums with their debut.

Now she is back and able to be more sexually free with her albums, I am dying to see what she has in store. I didn't think her first album was too mature, but was a "real" girls hand book to life.

Rihanna seemed to be more catering to the club scene ,and what was going on that year. caucasians buy more music ,and because T.Mari was catering more twoards the urban market, she didn't sell as much.

Gravatar TM is so irrelevant...who really cares if she releases an album? She totally blends in with every other weave wearing R(aggedy)&B(eweaveable)/Hip-Drop chick out there! Her music is subpar and it isn't something that I would buy let alone play 5 years down the line. Maybe not even next week. Why do you all keep comparing her to Rihanna? lol...

Gravatar @ roy - yeah and what u shud accept is that rihanna is some worldwide chick.

t.error. mari is not even known in all of the united states.

now move on biatch!

Gravatar I think she [Rihanna] was trying to be bitchy if she was asked about playing second fiddle and said that. It's like she's implying that Teairra wasn't good to people, but who knows....maybe she wasn't!

That's how it came across to me as well. I know exactly what Karma means. No need to get patronising.

Gravatar B. Scott is such a cutie.

LMFAO @ Rihanna and Teairra doing a tribute to DC. I'm gonna have to look that up and have myself a good ol' laugh.

Her interview was nice. I'm mildly interested in this girl. I'm not feeling her first single choice, but I'm willing to give her another chance.

If Rihanna was so humble, I don't think she would've made a statement like that.

Gravatar http://youtube.com/watch?v=3nmrgYgq8IE

LMFAO! Rihanna is so far out of her league. It's like "Hero" all over again. Teairra sounded the best IMO. Amerie left a lot to be desired as well.

Gravatar Rihanna is a bitch sayin that in a interview just cos shes more famous now, rihanna let fame go to her head
