Bring on the video, I guess. Hopefully I won't see any elements of past videos from Mr. LaChapelle.

LMAO!!!!!!!!! I'm dying bcos of pics 1,3 and 5. Omg, what the hell is this chick wearing. Well it might look better on the video but right now she looks like a cave woman with red pumps.
I don't really care for the song, i actually think this is the 1st time Rihanna's released a single that i really don't care for. Dont matter it's already 18 on the Hot 100, she'll make it to number 1.

Lmao! Here we go! I am actually looking forward to this video for two reasons.
1: if it's bad, that's great because I am running outta material to roast this chick about. The arguments that she sounds like a goat/cat/assorted animal giving birth/dying/doing an assorted action, looks like a(n) alien/broke down Fefe Dobson/Pink/Beyonce/etc., and has nothing on Ciara/Britney/Beyonce/one-legged gimp when it comes to dancing/performing/emoting/standing in place gets very very old.
2: I know they dropped big bucks for Mr. LaChappelle, who's photographic repertoire is far more impressive than his music videos. And this chick's last good video (arguably) was Umbrella. Remember when they dropped "A Milli" on Shutup and Drive? Er, why? I am DYING to see what this looks like.
Damn right I am queuing up for a sniff Toya. You don't pass a car wreck and not slow down to look!
Lol, or it could be very good. who knows... (rant over)

But she is on fire though. This whole era has been stellar for her. I know LA Reid has the biggest grin on his face bcause he was able to transform her into a star. Good on them. I just hate that people who have so much talent don't get as many chances as Rihanna has had but that's the world we live in.

This video better be SICK because I really like the song. I like the lyrics. I had to read the lyrics online because for the longest time, I had no fuckin clue what else they were chantting besides 'distrubia' in the chorus.
The video for "Do it Well" turned out lame but maybe it was the editing. The end of the concept was cool but nothing matched the song's lyrics. I wish J.Lo would have made it big with another hit, I used to like that song.
The video David did for J.Lo's "I'm Glad" was PERFECT. I was lovin' the ass shots, the dance moves, the 80s vibe, the stripper scene splashed with water on stage, it was HOT. It made me like the song which was annoying. NOW, if only she could release a hot song and video like she USED to.
They need to release the video for Disturbia SOON.

who the hell is paying for her video's cause that shit cost money, in a time where record are not selling like they use to rihanna label has money to make her 6 video's
umbrella
shut up and drive
don't stop the music
take a bow
the one she did with maroon 5 and now this one
if any one else want to make a video their not gonna get it cause riri used up all the budget
most artist are lucky if they get four video's I mean Beyonce had to pay for her extra video's for B'Day

what you guys fail to understand is the music industry has changed with the internet, paparazzi 24 hr tv its more visual. it doesn't matter how good of a voice you have, if you don't have the package you're not going to make it. you will just be an average artist. you have to become a product . you have to be easy on the eyes, be able to sell magazine or product you. you have to be able to move in different circles. the hood shit keeping it real.not going to get you anywhere. the few urban crown who's buying your music you will be lucky if you go gold.+

Rihanna was never marketed to you haters she knows her audience and she caters to them. so the few black ppl who don't like her or her music doesn't matter because you guys would end up buying the bootleg anyways+ she's getting her cheque so waist your energy and hate she going to the bank while you go to your 9-5

I haven't heard 'Disturbia' yet. I'm waiting to be surprised when I hear it on the radio or see the video.
I'm still kinda upset that she didn't release other singles from her album. There were plenty of song choices: Breakin Dishes, Push Up on Me, Let Me Get That, Sell Me Candy (a favorite of mine)...

Britney's rumored first single:All The Way
After their initial collaboration on “Everybody” and “Toy Soldier”, off her latest disc “Blackout”, pop star Britney Spears is back in the studio crafting new hits with producer Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Christina Milian, Jesse McCartney) and singer/songwriter Sean “The Pen” Garrett (Jennifer Hudson, Usher Raymond) for her 6th studio album with Jive Records.
The first official track slated for the new project is “All The Way”, written by Cathy Dennis. [Who also pinned "Toxic" which was Britneys first Top 10 Single since Oops I Did It Again. "All The Way" was produced by Jack Splash (Beyonce Knowles, Estelle Swaray) and Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald (Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne).

Rihanna, I love her as a style icon!!!!
I love her as a human being!
I don't understand the fascination with her music!
"Music of the Sun" was/is her best album to date. She had personal ballads!!!!!!
It's pretty much over after that. She continues to get major dollars spent on her ,but has yet to have an album sell well over 3million copies...
Tearria Mari could have used some of her producers, and budget!!!!

@Ja: Thanks for the link! I love Danger Mouse, and the album sounds pretty good so far. What did you think of Gnarls Barkley's last CD?
Mike
Cee-lo is one of my favorite artists period. I've been rolling with him since Goodie Mob's "Soul Food." Too bad he's only getting recognition now. Therefore, I love everything he does. His songwriting skills are ridiculous. He doesn't write 2-dimensional ass lyrics like a Ne-yo, but shit that takes thought and actually means something. Danger Mouse is one of my favorite producers. I've been rolling with him since "Ghetto Pop Life." He takes risks that I wish Timbaland would. But Tim just wants to make hits, not good records.
So basically, I loved all of the Gnarls records. It's funny because I had "Crazy" a year before it was a hit single anywhere. My friends didn't care for it then, but as soon as it got big, they couldn't stop humming it.
Another good record that Danger produced this year is The Black Key's "Attack & Release." Another genius record. Danger is the man. From Gorillaz's last record to now Beck, dude has no boundaries.
