Here I Stand is a solid album but in comparison to all his other albums, this is his worst album. 8701 was a classic and Confessions was a commerical hit.
ALL of Nelly Furtado's albums are GREAT. Each one has a different style and she shows evolution on each album as well. I couldn't stand "I'm Like a Bird" when it first came out although now I do appreciate it's beauty. There are a ton of great tracks on there. Her 2nd album for Folklore is what continued to elevate her status as an international superstar. She released many singles over seas and they did moderately well. "forca" was 2004's official european song or something. "Try" is one of the best tracks I've heard in a long time given the emotion and lyrics. Folklore was a COMPLETE FLOP in the US but it had success everywhere else -- it's okay because the US usually MISSES OUT on great music. Loose was a true INTERNATIONAL HIT with every song having single potential. I still can't get over the fact that she didn't release "Wait for You," that beat is SICK and would have done well everywhere. the vidoe for "do it" was a disappointment. OVerall, she's a real artist and I"ve always liked her.
FSLS has potential to be a cliassic. It was purple rain 2006. I hate Justin but give the boy credit cuz the album was credit (only bcuz of Timbaland to be honest). I hate to see Usher fail and Justin succeed.
