The Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z concert in Atlanta was definitely a treat. Mary J. Blige can SANG! This is something I've always known, but I was also aware that there were doubters. Bitch blew me away last night! She performed 5 songs from Growing pains including Work That, Feel Like A Woman, Stay Down, and of course Just Fine. When I tell you that the hardcore niggas were JAMMIN' to Just Fine, I am not playing! The entire arena was up going crazy during that song. She performs EVERY song like it means something to her.
Jay-Z = THE MUTHAFUCKIN' TRUTH! Swagger will knock you off of your feet. His set included George Bush bashing, Barack Obama praise, and saying "Fuck that shit" to some of his songs, including Beyonce's "Upgrade U." Of course, he apologized to Beyonce for being so...profane. Great show! Jeezy, Diddy, and Memphis Bleek made guest appearances.
