Yeah, "Hot" is good!
Her second album, on the other hand, is pure garbage. I hope she goes back to the R&B sound.

Does anyone have a link to her second album. Hot WAS a good cd. The second album - was it independent?
Wow a Mel B and Janet collabo - should be interesting. I think she's worked with Rodney before, on her 1st solo song "Tell Me". It was either him or Fred idk

i think the album will do really well, she has so much going for her right now
with the spice girls tour, fans will be hungry for more
and her working with people rodney, missy janet
the album must be a hit
and shes got sex appeal and we all know, that has like 70% of sales

Interesting, I hope it's a hot club banger.
I doubt it'll do good on the UK charts, because Janet isn't very big over in the UK. Both Discipline & Feedback got into the top 40. Could be wrong though.

@ whoever asked which Darkchild brother did tracks on Mel B's album.
It was Fred Jerkins III, not Rodney Jerkins that did the tracks with her. He also did "Lullaby" (I think), but that was some bullshit. "Tell me" was a BANGER, but her vocals were terrible. The "You lied ta may!! Why did you life TA MAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!" line on the bridge section still rings in my ears.

Am sorry Mel b sucks, she always did even in the spice girl. She can't sing and she can't dance. The only song that was ok was "I want you back" and even that was so-so. This album will definently suck even if beyonce, Janet and Chris Brown do a colabo with her. Yes am hating, but i just cant stand her. I guess its because of the Eddie Murphy thing am on Eddie side. She should have to put the album out at that time maybe she would have at lease sold 100k.

I'm glad to see Mel B back. Fresh off the Spice Girls tour, she should really come back hard. I can't wait.
"Hot" was a great album. I'm still listening to it till this day. Good to see her working with some hot producers this time around. I hope Rodney Jerkins really brings it.
While were on the topic of Rodney Jerkins, I might as well mention that he did the damn thing on The Spice Girls' third album "Forever." That was my SHIT!!! I was so disappointed that it wasn't promoted & received properly because that was album was fuckin' outstanding.

Spice girls Forever was a hot album. Darkchild did the damn thing. "Holler" to this day is still a jam. Rodney Jerkins KILLED it with the production and the auto tuning was too sick. I can't stand how songs be working it now, but back then I was all over how hot it sounded. And Fred Jerkins came correct with "Wasting my time". That was my shit too. The chorus was crack. It's a shame they f**ked up with the promotion, because they could've dropped some hot singles off of it. "Get down with me" was a guilty pleasure and "Tell me why" was hot too and kinda controversial, because the lyrics seemed as though they were aimed at Geri.

Holler is my song! Aw man, I need to listen to that. I'm a huuuuuge Spice Girls fan! My fav. was always Mel B. and my fav. song was Saturday Night Divas. As for solo careers, no one can touch Emma! Her album Free Me is a certified classic!

"You lied ta may!! Why did you life TA MAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!" line on the bridge section still rings in my ears.
That is too funny and too true.
@ Roy - Lil' Wayne's album is NOT SIIIIIIIIIIICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKK! It's a loada a SHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT!
But A Milli is my track of the week. It's the only song off the album I like so far.

Mel B's first album was okay, but nothing amazing. The production on the beats was tight, but her voice was a huge problem. She killed so many of the songs because of it. "Feel so good" has SUCH a beat on it, but her vocals f**k it up. Listening to bitch screech "Oh yeeeaaahh!!" every 2 lines did my head in. "Tell me" was a banger, but again...her vocals. The only song on the album where her voice actually sounds nice is "I believe". That's a really nice song and Mel's vocals actually sound decent.
Don't bother checking out her second album, because it's garbage. Check out the Spice girls last album Forever though. That shit was pretty hot. Darkchild did the damn thing with those bitches. I give mad props to Emma and Mel C - because their vocals were on point and make 90% of the songs. Only on "Gte down with me" and "Tell me why" does Mel B pick up the slack. "Holler" to this day is still a hot song and I confess to having actually liked "Let love lead the way".
