Okay, the chorus and the hook is pretty catchy. I'll give it a few more listens. She still haven't one me over yet though or give me enough interest to download the album.

She sounds good, not overdone and loud or churchy. It does sounds like a Ne-Yo beat...but its cool, not "great" but cool.

Well Dreamgirls came out in Decemeber 2006...Sex in The City comes out Huge and it's a totally different group of people who will be interested in that film so she's got alot of promo coming up.

this song is really pleasent to the ear when you hear it, and the chorus is catchy, plus her voice dont make you turn down the music a bit everytime she screams-sings lol

I am really liking this. It's simple, but well produced and clean. I love the music and the lyrics and Jennifer sounds nice. No oversinging and screeching all over the place.
It sounds like Stargate production, with Ne-Yo's lyrics and vocal arrangements. Though I could be way off.
This could be a hit for her if it's promoted correctly. It lacks that big in your face impact, but it's still a hot song that can be a hit if handled correctly.

The movie's not getting good reviews. I figured it wouldn't be hailed by the critics. Movie adaptations of shows often are too gimmicky.

It's funny you say that. Because the first 2 seconds or so of the song before the melody kicks in reminded me a little of "No one".
Also, the baseline should be harder.
The song is irritating.
I love when J-Hud belts out and I love when Fantasia shouts. For me it's about feeling her when she sings. I felt Jennifer held back. I'm not too in love with the song for simple fact she held back. The song is growing on me though. Jennifer reminds me of real singers back then that don't rely on producers to work their magic in the studio to demonstrate vocal prowess. Fantasia is an entertainer. I love how carefree she is when she sings. She gives her all, sort of like James Brown. For the last 5 years the industry has been watered down with selling image and not talent.
I love it. If J Hud dropped a song with her screaming, folks would've been on her tail.
