I read that on wikipedia ages ago. But its is still intresting, Coldplay? intresting. I loved obvious that song was the shit. It's good that they are taking there time but i fear for the project because it's been pushed back since 07. Does this mean that if Katy Perry's Hot/Cold single cracks the top 10 that Toya would have to wait a little longer to drop her project? I mean in all honesty, if that happens than Katy would be the only artist on Capitol thus far to drop 2 successful singles and will get a third single.

Agreed! I read that he was part of an auction (some promotional thing from his label I think). The winner got to spend a day with him or something. The winner bid thousands of dollars. He let the winner keep the money and still spent the day with him. On his interviews and what not, he just seems so down to earth and greatful.

I was an assistant manager in an urban wear store in Florida... we sold Dereon, and other than the jackets/hoodies, the shit didn't sell. Mainly because most girls said the fit was weird... I can count on my hand how many pairs of pants I sold..

Capitol also did Faith Evans' last album wrong. It's a good album, but there was very little promotion. Same thing with Cherish.

I'm disappointed that the album will have more uptempos. I really felt that the ballads and midtempos were easily the best tracks on her debut, and show off her voice best. Her uptempos were actually pretty average.
