But even Madonna was hustling her ass with promotion for Hard candy and at least has put out a second single within a couple of months of the first. Janet dropped "Feedback" with ZERO promotion and then did f**k all for "Rock with U" which was a huge mistake. If there was any song on Discipline that had the potential to shut shit down worldwide, it was "Rock with U".
I'd go see Janet on tour - no two ways about it. But I just wish she would've rolled out better with Disicpline - because the album was solid enough to sell big and have a nice string of hot singles.

Ummm, if the artists want me to care about their music, they need to care about it too. With new artist rolling in left and right trying to steal "legends" shine you can bet your ass they have something to prove. They have to prove that they still have what it takes to go toe to toe with the new generation.
