It is a actual FACT that the hair color that bests suits your skin tone is your natural hair color! The only people in the world who are naturally blond are white people (with VERY few exceptions), thats why when anyone of color attempt to dye their hair blond end up looking ridiculous or off. That statement isn't entirely true. Believe me I know. There are loads of non-mixed black chicks with long hair. It's also a genetic thing as well that can also stem from previous generations. And sometimes a non-mixed black person can dip into the gene pool to look a certain way that's not deemed as "common amongst black people". It has happened a lot in my family. The BELIEF that all straight black folks have short nappy hair to their ears is also a stereotype in itself as well. There's no reason why a non-mixed black chick can't have naturally long hair provided that she cares and nurtures it. It's always gotta be: "her hair must be short or she must be bald because she always rocking a wig/weave". Well, sometimes that's the case but not always. Aaliyah wore a weave and her real hair was mad long and Alicia wears weave but we know her hair is naturally long because we've seen it and she's mixed but my point is, even chicks with lengthy hair rock weave, destroying the notion that black chicks who don't wear their real hair must be bald. Good hair has nothing to do with texture, length or quality but moreso to do with its health, condition and strength. As far as I'm concerned good hair signifies healthy hair. A lot of black men are stuck on the flowy hair type because they consider it more sexy/appealing. But the good thing about being black is that we're the most exotic of all races because we come in different skin tones, hair textures and so forth.

We are very fortunate to be in the 21st Century because nowadays we can be who we want, dress how we want and go where we want. I say if somebody want's to rock the blonde, ROCK ON!!! It's people at my school, wearing some green and blue braids okay!!! Blonde is so tame compared to that monstrosity. I do agree that Blonde doesn't suits everyone, white or black. In my opinion, it can suit Beyonce but not Lindsay Lohan. Plus, I think majority of the women of ALL races look the best with black hair: Keyshia, Ciara, Hilary Duff etc.
Yup... I agree with everything you just said Toya. In fact, my ex was black as they come, yet she had long beautiful hair lol. Hell... I'm 100% black myself, and my hair is in cornrows, but it's a really good texture and healthy. But at least from my experience, mixed people generally have a longer more flowy texture to their hair than the majority of straight black people just because of the genetic makeup coming to the forefront.

So I heard the reason she was wearing the wack wig is for her role of Etta James in a film...Ok now let's talk about this...I love Beyonce' don't get me wrong BUT I also know when things just don't work...I mean ETTA JAMES is a blues Beast!! Like off the chain and Beyonce' is not so good in the acting dept. although the industry is trying to force us to believe that she is, but honestly...if you have Etta James herself questioning whether you can play the role, you know something's up... ^^Yep. I have actually met a couple of black people with naturally red hair but this is the first that I've met with red hair and green eyes
