the original is a pop classic. i still listen to it to this day. the remix isn't too bad.

I LOVED the original. I can kinda understand why she's rereleased it though. Its a chance to remind everyone who she is... rather than come back as a total unknown after all this time. I thought her song 'Im Right Here' a few years ago was great. Glad she's making a comeback 
I agree with Sky. And this version is absoluteyl terrible. Her voice never used to sound like that, as though she's out of breath after just one verse, and who wants to be taken back to their teens by Samantha Mumba?
And she's been talking about the release of this album for years! It's kinda lazy to have been off the scene for so long and release a remix of your first song as a comeback! wtf!

KAREN WHITE did the same thing with SUPERWOMAN...Its not the artist doing this its the DJ reissuing the song to show their skills. The artist is just there to sweeten the deal. This has been just shit loads of time... JENNIFER HOLIDAY did it for AND I AM TELLING U the dance mix... Personally id rather see the originaly singer do the track and not a no name singer cover it.. ie. DJ SAMMY - Why (the annie lennox cover)
Actually Rory it's just as much Samantha as the dj, as the video is brand new and so are the vocals - so why don't YOU do your research, and make sure it's recent (Karen White - Superwoman? wtf that's like 20 years old)
I actually like it. It's nice to see Sam again, especially coming from The States. I hope she's promoted right her in the U.S.
She has been gone for FOREVER. It's almost hard to believe that she is only 25. She must've been way young by then. I don't have a problem with the remix, but she should've done "Baby, Come on Over (Tonight's The Night Mix)" or whatever it was called because I think that was a bigger hit for her. She's got an original voice and she can dance so she might make waves for a quick minute, but she might wanna get some fresh material out stat.
The Eastern Block wil love this - no joke. She will do well over here (Europe/UK)

She looks HOT. I've never been into her or her music when she was semi popular in the states and bigger overseas.
I think releasing a remixed song/video isn't that bad of an idea because they're clearly trying to target the clubgoers on an international level.
If this remix is an indicator of the type of direction she's headed then it's not too bad. Maybe she'll get on the CB "Forever" Rihanna "Distrubia, DK "Damaged", Neyo's "Closer" , Britney Spear "Gimme More"/Blackout album R&B, Pop EuroPoP sound.
She needs something MORE to stand out though or she'll have a BAAAAAAAAAAAAD comeback that will make her be gone.
