Yeah...I think this is one of his best videos he has ever made,truly. The emotion was fantastic and the video was over all really great.
I like it, however, I'm not feeling the new version of the song. I still like, but the original version was just more personal. Now, you have all of these random voices and side effects coming out of no where.

I think the 2 tracks featuring Will.i.am and Jay-Z are the worst.
I wasn't impressed with the Jay-Z song either. Not because of Jay-Z (he's the only reason worth listening to it), but because of the production. Jermaine let me down on that one.
The Will.I.Am track is... I don't know how I feel about it. His songs just lack substance to me. How many times can you ask a chick what's her name in different songs.
Aww man! Is it just me just me or does it seem like Usher is starting to "BLEND IN" with the 2nd Rate, B-List R&B Singers like Mario, J.Holiday, The Dream etc on this album. Love In This Club was not that big and his album was real wack. Usher really let us down this go round and this song aint that tough either. Justin got him beat this time. Naybe next time Usher.

I have a lot of respect for Usher. Before 'Confessions' he had a slew of number one hits. However, he didn't get the respect or press that he deserved. With his last album, he made everyone recognize him. You couldn't deny him.
So when Kanye compares himself and JT to Prince and Michael Jackson, I give youtube the quick side eye of death. Because 1 - they're not even on a 1/10 of their talent level. 2. They have yet to reach any comparable level of success. 3. If JT is Michael Jackson, who is Usher?

^ The only semi-explanation I can think of in response to your question is Justin's song writing capabilities, his live performances, and just that factor about him that makes him extremely appealing. Still, I have no idea why people are so quick to applaud everything Justin does...

Ok I'm done. Umm Jake Nava is the man. I really love the direction of the video. The lyrics of the song fit perfectly with scene of the mountain. I like it. Usher's voice is fantastic. Jake Nava's videos are beautiful, very realistic and classy. I still loved that video with Mariah Carey "SHAKE IT OFF".
More stars need to get with Jake Nava. His vision is stunning and unique.

. Bey's album drops in November, CR is due next year and so is "Obsessed". The James Bond song is due in the fall too since thats when the movie comes out. So some of her projects are later this year-toward the end of this year and others are slatted for mid-2009.
