You would not speak to a dog the way she spoke to him. I was shocked. I said to my sister "they aint going to last", and they didn't. Months after that they split on very bad terms.
Robert Smith and Brandy were a hot combination. Musically at least. "When you touch me" and "WOW" got spins on a regular basis. Plus, he (and Brandy) laced Kelly Rowland with a hot track for her first album. "Love / Hate" was a banger. That was a single right there. But it's Kelly, so obviously she didn't release it. He also gave Toni Braxton some great tracks for her More than a woman album. Both of which were also written by Brandy.
I'm not too feeling this "Doesn't really matter" joint though. "This must be love" was miles better. I absolutely love that song.
This is why I be loving Brandy. She always knows how to come correct and she does not mess around in that studio. I also love how she doesn't hop on bandwagons and just does music. Her unreleased material puts what other bitches be putting as final tracks on their album to shame.
Also, (I know it's old, but) have any of you heard Brandy's version of "Ryde or die"? It's another Robert Smith joint. Jennifer Hopelez recorded it and had it on her Rebirth album, but Brandy had recorded it first. Needless to say Brandy shuts it down and put's J.Lo's effort to the rawest shame.

Speaking of her album, some songs from her Afrodisiac album were left off. She could re-do and re-master some those songs and mix it nup with her hopefully to be recorded soon new songs.

@ Random J - Ride or Die is my song man. How deep is that song you can feel it when she is singing. Then J-Lo just ruined it. If brandy had released it it wouldve been a smash.

Well, it was recorded during Full Moon era. It's an actual demo. I think the song was made to be shipped off to other artists.
@ Mike: I think it is. If has that same Robert Smith production style that his contributions to Full moon had.
Robert Smith also did some songs for Kiley Dean's album that sounded very Brandy-esque: "Should I go" & "Better than the day" sounded like Full moon joints. But because that album never actually dropped and there are no full credits for the song, I don't know if Brandy wrote them too - but I'm betting she did, because they sound like the kinda shit Brandy would do. When I first heard Kiley's "Escape" the first thing I said was "This sounds like a Robert Smith production and it reminds me of Brandy". Kiley did the damn thing on her version, I was killing that song non stop when it leaked. But I'd love to hear how Brandy put it down.
It's a shame Brandy went and treated Robert like shit, because they definitely had a musical chemistry.
